Best Hikes with Dogs: Author Dan A. Nelson, an outdoor columnist for The Seattle Times & a contributor to Backpacker magazine, will talk about his book "Best Hikes with Dogs: Western Washington" & will share some of his favorite hikes. His canine hiking partner Sophie will be on hand demonstrating hiking dog accessories. Books will be available for purchase. This event is part of the Timberland Regional Library 2011 Timberland Reads Together. Saturday, October 8th, 1-2pm. Tumwater Library, 2073 New Market, Tumwater.
