Foraging in Crow's Backyard: Capitol Land Trust is hosting a free monthly speaker series. This month’s topic is urban foraging. Despite common perceptions of cities as ecological wastelands, people engage in a vibrant practice of plant & mushroom gathering in urban ecosystems. You will hear about food items gathered in the city & how foragers are engaging in stewardship activities in urban greenspaces while also creating access to food & nature. Tuesday, October 18th, 7pm.
