Earth Day Lecture and Discussion: In celebration of Earth Day, the Procession of the Species will host noted biologist, writer, and butterfly expert Robert Michael Pyle for a presentation on “The Magic of Monarchs.” Pyle will talk about the continent-spanning migration of monarch butterflies and share the new ways that people have come to understand it. He’ll describe the co-evolution between milkweeds, monarchs, and their predators, and consider their future in a changing world. Sunday, April 22nd, 7-8:30pm.
