Thurston County Fair: PAWSitively Fun! Check out the horse shows, pet the prize-winning animals, cruise the carnival, get dizzy on the rides, spin some wool, enjoy the magic, the kids' tractor pull, the quilts, the Irish dancing, and all that yummy fair food at the Thurston County Fair! $1 off wooden nickels from Les Schwab. Free shuttles from North Thurston Schools Bus Barn and Woodland Elementary. Wednesday, August 1st to Sunday, August 5th. Thurston County Fairgrounds, 3054 Carpenter Rd SE, Lacey.

 

Tickets for the Thurston County Fair are $7.00 for adults, $6.00 for seniors, $5.00 for youth and free for those five and under. On One-Buck-Wednesday, August 1, admission for all ages is only $1.00 with a donation of non-perishable food (per person) to benefit Thurston County Food Banks. (Other special discounts can be found on the Fair website.)

Breakfast with Thurston County Commissioners Saturday! Grab some grub and gab with Thurston County commissioners at their annual breakfast at the Thurston County Fair.  The public is invited to the annual free breakfast sponsored by the commissioners. This year’s breakfast is from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 4 and is free with a paid admission to the fairgrounds.  The breakfast area is located on the east side of Heritage Hall near the Gazebo and the meal is paid for by the commissioners who serve it with help from county staff.
