FREE! Elwha River Restoration: The National Park Service will be presenting on the amazing restoration work happening in the Elwha. Dam removal began on the Elwha River in mid-Sept 2011. Originally anticipated to be a year process, removal proceeded quickly and by late spring 2012, the Elwha Dam was gone. The fish are already back, sooner and in higher numbers than expected!
