The Relay For Life is a community-driven event and is a great way area residents – from young students to senior citizens – to work together in the fight against cancer. Teams usually have 8 to 15 members who take turns walking around the track at the Relay event. The team members include cancer survivors, family members, friends, co-workers, and members of social and civic organizations. Relay festivities include entertainment, food, tent decorating, games, raffles, and prizes throughout the all-night event. As cancer never sleeps, participants are up and walking around the track for the full time fighting for the cure. Click here for details on Relays in your community!
